Floating buckets

Domestic sewer system allowing sequential supply of a waste disposal system.
The references below are used for residential waste water treatment.
It is installed downstream a waste water pre-treatment unit such as an all-water septic tank.
Its advantages are various :
Operates without external power.
Allows an homogeneous supply by batches of the spreading or filtration unit.
Prevents clogging of the waste disposal system.
Homogeneous supply of the effluent on the purification system = better working of the waste disposal system.
Optimizes the purification output of the waste disposal system.

MANUFACTURING
Polyethylene tank with screw-dawn cover.
Stainless steel peripheral products (304 L).
Flexible connection between the floating bucket and the evacuation.
- At rest, the float is in horizontal position in the bottom of the tank.
- When the wastewater arrives, the float rises to the maximum level. The float fills with water and flows to the bottom of the tank. This action causes the flushing of the effluents.
- Polyethylene tank with screw cap.
- floating bag made of polyethylene. Additional equipment in stainless steel, ref. 304L. - Flexible connection between floating bag and evacuation.
- Works without external energy.
- Allows a homogeneous feed by tarpaulins from the spreading network or the filtration unit. - Avoids clogging of the distribution network. - Distributes the effluent evenly over the filter bed to optimize its operation. - Optimizes the treatment efficiency of the treatment sector.
The device has to be buried as close as possible to the pre-treatment unit.
The bottom of the hole must be perfectly flat and covered with 10 cm of sand.
The backfill must be made using sand only (never stone or gravel).
Before earthwork, the tank need to be filled with clean water up to the outlet level before the float sink.
If vehicles will drive over the area less than 3 meters away, a concrete slab protection must be created on top of the device. The dimensions of the concrete slab protection must be calculated in order to withstand the loads necessary.
The top of the device must remain accessible for the maintenance.
This notice only applies for stabilized, non-flooded grounds and those without ground water. For all other cases, please contact our research department.
When the floating bucket is not working, the float stays at horizontal position in the bottom of the tank.
When waste water come into the tank, the float raises up to its maximum level. Then, it is filled up with water to finally goes down to the minimum level of the tank.
Clean the float and the bottom of the tank once a year.
Check the hose frequently (wear part).
