To avoid the risk of odours and leaks, it is just a good idea to check the condition of the seal, clean the area if necessary in case of sludge or other deposits, or replace it. All types of maintenance (washing, brushing, etc.) are permitted for all types of floor coverings used (tiles, bricks, etc.).

We recommend opening the manhole covers once a year, cleaning and greasing the inner edges of the frame and the edges of the tank with a silicone based lubricant.
